Government returns meteorite to family
Associated Press
BANGKOK, Thailand - In a ceremony befitting its heaven-set stature, the goverment returned a meteorite revered as a good luck icon to the family who found it.
The 37-pound gray stone was handed over Thursday by Deputy Gov. Yothim Prompriam in a ceremony in Phetchabun.
The family loaded it into their pickup truck and took it to a bank safe-deposit box.
Neighbors prayed at the site the meteorite struck for good fortune.
Four days later, the authorities seized the meteorite saying that what falls from the sky belongs to the state.

Haven't researched this yet. Anyone know what meteorite this is?
