The lightening and thunder storms we are experiencing in the Chicago area are unusual for this time of year. It was close to 50 degrees today. It occurs to me that over the course of time a whole lot of falls must have occurred during thunderstorms and gone completely unnoticed. Not a new thought of course but one I never heard discussed.
