Dear List,
Since I research tektites, including Muong Nong
tektites, I would not suggest cutting any of them over
500 grams. They are extemely rare from 1Kg-28Kg.
Please cut only smaller ones. Economically you
would be unwise to cut larger ones. The internal
structure is unremarkable unless etched. The exterior
shows basically the same structure...cutting is
destructive; and in my opinion, unless one is doing
serious scientific research it is unnecessary.
I have new results concerning Moung Nong tektites
that I hope to publish soon.
