Hello Michael and List, The largest mass of the SA fall weighing 1,745 kg, a shield- shaped, oriented mass more than one meter across excavated a relatively small "impact pit" 3.5 meters in diameter and only 0.8 meters deep. The largest hole, 26 meters in diameter and 6 meters deep contained a lot of fragments ranging from .5 to 25 kg and totalling several hundred kilograms. Reference: BUCHWALD V.F. (1975) Iron Meteorites, Vol. 3, p. 1125.
