Hello Tom and list
That was the happenstance location* in the northwestward quadrant of what was to become identified as the strewn field where meteorites from this find were first identified by science. (1891? all though, meteorites from this field were known and traded much earlier). The crater was not associated with this find until --when? 1920's? Ergo, couldn't have been Meteor Crater, AZ under past nomenclature conventions.
