For the record, it is against the law to use someone elses copyrighted
material on the internet for commercial purposes. The Digital Millennium
Copyright Act does not apply to non-commercial uses however, at least
that's the way I read it. You can generally submit a complaint to the
infringer's server and he will probably lose his account. The servers do
recognize and take action against such copyright infringement. Most
servers have the official forms that can be filled out online, but the
required information is exhaustive... but perhaps worth the effort for
the peace of mind it provides.
