Good point John,
Obviously Steve set the cost for these Dvd's at a considerably low price (
$10.00 ).
Even if the cost for manufacturing were around $1.00 , if I personally were
selling them the cost would be at least $15.00 per unit. Standing in line at
the post office for 15 - 20 minutes to make $9.00 profit is a joke in
itself.
BTW Darren, my new Hp computer takes about an hour to burn a 90 minute dvd.
I paid for my copy today. I just wish Steve could have made pics available
for the specimens that are for sale.

Obviously the thoughts of a person who has never produced a video. You
need to figure in the associated costs as well like travel, equipment,
fuel, blank tapes, more equipment and finally and most importantly, lots
and lots of time.
If it plays on a DVD player at all, it's worth 20 bucks.

I didn't order the disc myself because I found the price too HIGH.
Granted, I assumed that it would
be simply a burned DVD-R and that you wouldn't be going through all the
trouble of buying cases,
labels, inserts, etc. Good brand-name DVD-Rs or DVD+Rs should cost you
under 50 cents each and
"slim line" jewel cases should run you around 35 cents or less each. So
each disc plus case would
cost you under $1.00 total (shipping excluded, of course). I doubt anyone
on the list was expecting
a fancy box set for it, after all. (Fancy box sets to lust after here:
