Hi, It is possible the person applied a water based
lacquer/varnish to your rock and accidentally ruined
your piece that way.
I was wondering if you took before and after pictures.
I would like to see them if you did!
I would not buy from that person a second time though
if I were you. I hate hearing about a disappointing
buy.
