Residents Report Seeing Strange Light WTVF News Channel 5 (Nashville, Tennessee) Monday night, a bright streaking flash of light was reported in several middle Tennessee counties. Reports poured in to authorities and to NewsChannel 5 about the strange occurance at about 9:30 p.m. Officials with the National Weather Service said the flash was probably a meteorite, but so far no cause has been found. One woman reported seeing what looked like a shooting star 20 feet above her house in Wilson County. NewsChannel 5 is interested in speaking with anyone who has pictures or video of Monday night's event.
