Dear List Members,

For those who have purchased or were interested in the classification of NWA 2835, here is a more accurate and current classification as described by Dr. Bunch:

NWA 2835, Primitive Achondrite (metachondrite), S2, W4, Fa 17.8, Fs 16.4, purchased in Northwest Africa in 2005. It was initially analyzed and classified at NAU as a completely recrystalized H7 but after completed oxygen isotope study, it has since been determined to be an ungrouped primitive achondrite, or metachondrite, most likely paired to NWA 2353.
