Hello Jeff,
Can you also add to the search engine the correct spelling for
Okechobee, i.e., Okeechobee, and perhaps also Lake Okeechobee, for those
who are searching for this meteorite under its correct location spelling
and/or its actual find location (3/4 of a mile offshore in Lake
Okeechobee)? Much appreciated.

I add lots of things to the indices of the database that you never see.
If you have an alternate spelling for a meteorite you think should be
included, even if it is not recognized by the NomCom, by all means send
it to me. This will allow a search to succeed, even though your
spelling is not acknowledged as a synonym. For example, a search on
"Wolfe Creek" now succeeds in finding Wolf Creek.

Hi all,
would it not make sense to include alternative place names and
synonyms for such entries in MetBull, even if it is a late addition.
It is an online database. This I believe should allow people to find
without fuss what they are looking for.
Maybe even local language names for entries such as how Henbury is
known by several.
Henbury, recent. Double Punchbowl, old. Chindu chinna waru chingi
yaku, Aboriginal.
Barringer Crater is also known by several names, etc.
I don't know what's involved, or how flexible the MetBull structure is.
