Really. This crap is total pollution and does not belong on a scientific
oriented list. The person behind this ("Eric Julien"), is a snake oil
profiteer who is only interested in getting his name known, and he does not
care what kind of reputation it conjures up. Bringing up references to his
work is certainly not in the best interest of the meteorite community.

I wish there was some kind of moderation. Like many others, I come and go in
6 month spurts on this list , and find the same old crap dominating an
otherwise great exchange of meteorite data. If it's not crackpots, its name
calling or outright assault. Sad for such a collection of smart people.

Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] Earth collision from Comet fragments

Arrrghhhh!

Why do we read this stuff.

Stop it. It only encourages them.
Is this written by the same guy as the $20M martian
meteorite? The whole thing is so flawed it's
impossible to start with any one point. It's not even
perfect idiocy.

What is it with these nuts who keep having "visions"?

I swear, it's making me so skeptical that if the Lord
Himself provides me with a true vision I'm like ly to
say, "Yeah, whatever"

I'm done.
