Almost on the money, Doug. It was October of 1968. [Yes, I still have
mine].

I seem to recall quite a few Silver Age comics stories that featured
alien viruses brought to earth on meteorites, and that kind of thing,
but don't remember any details. Sold most of my collection to buy a big
Sikhote-Alin years ago (good investment). Kept the Jack Kirby classics
though. He was the greatest. I have an original Jack Kirby "Captain
America" page right here on the wall in my office.
