http://maps.google.com/?ll=76.616667,-109.05&spn=0.204709,1.18515&t=k&om =1 Looks like a very obvious impact crater in northern Canada. Evidently this feature was first spotted by a U.S. Air Force Navigator back in the 1960's using ground mapping radar, but based on the above image I should think it would have been easily spotted in regular aerial photography.
