There are a couple of great books that I can highly recommend: The modern classic is _Rocks From Space_ 2nd edition by O. Richard Norton. This one is in print, can be purchased from amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0878423737/sr=1-1/qid=1154405841/ref=pd_bbs_1/103-7883561-5277402?ie=UTF8&s=books The older classic is a bit harder to get, as it is out of print: _Find a Falling Star_ by Harvey H. Ninninger. Another one you might enjoy is written by a female meteoriticist called _The Rock from Mars_ by Kathy Sawyer.
