Thank you Bernd, as always, a superb thin section. As I said however, it's the vesicles that I would prize as it's a rather rare commodity for know "ites" Having "fallen for" some terrestrial lavas before groping my way to the List, I'd much appreciate a fully recognizible magma "bubbles and all" meteorite as demonstrated in Ibitera.

Subject: [meteorite-list] Ibitira slice

Hi Jerry and List,

Looking for small slice (under $100) of Ibitira
with vesicles "apparent". Am I dreaming?

Why not dream the impossible dream! I got my 0.21-gram partslice of
Ibitira from Michael Cottingham for definitely under $100 (it is not
for sale, of course) but it took years of waiting until I was lucky
enough to add this spectacular eucrite to my collection. Furthermore,
I have a thin section of this unbrecciated, vesicular, non-cumulate
beauty which cost me well over $100 but it is worth the money I had
to pay for it when I purchased it from Michael Blood. I will send you
pics of my little piece and my thin section for your viewing pleasure.

Best wishes,

Bernd
