Hello M.M.; The fusion crust on an iron meteorite won't rub off with your finger.It is magnetite which is very hard and durable.You maybe should contact the seller.They probably received it that way too.Just a thought.But,i would bet a shiny sikhote would also look good.Good luck and keep on collecting.We all get low graded sometimes.
