Meteorite coins?

Coin n. A small piece of metal usually flat and circular, authorized by a
government for use as money.

Medallion n. Something resembling a large medal, such as an oval or circular
design used as decoration.

I have a seen meteorite coins and meteorite medallions and there is a
difference.

OTOH, the meteorite coins I have seen, although legal tender in the country
issued, seem to be more contrived for resale (similar to certain countries
which issue postage stamps mainly for export) than for actual use in the
general population.
