Meteors can already be easily and cheaply tracked with great accuracy. The problem is that no matter how accurately you know where the meteor was, it's generally not possible to determine with much accuracy where any possible meteorites might have landed.

Perhaps with a little adapting, every future meteor could be triangulated with great accuracy to the ground...?
The meteorite-science community could get the edge on hunts!
