Hi all, I have to side with Elton.

The diamonds on the blade are what allow it to cut through iron. With a
Ureilite it is diamomd against diamond.

A few years ago Rob (Nakhla Dog) had a huge (Just over a kilo) Ureilite. I
said I would put a polished face on it. I had envisioned a beautiful
cut/polish. I was not willing to return it defaced so I kept at it. I used
over
$2K in Buehler diamond disks trying to smooth out the damage I had done with
several blades.

Don't take the Ureilites lightly!

te he he-- I am skeptical, David--Blade loss would be
greater don't you mean? Be it remembered that
ureilites are chock full with nano diamonds? Seems to
me that is a war of attrition with the diamonds.
While the blade is cutting the Ureilite the Ureilite
is cutting the blade; metal, diamond and, all.

Hello Dave, btw I'd not had the pleasure of snipping
you until now. Consider yourself snipped-- welcome to
the clan.
