Martin; A great and kind oratory of the hazards(financial and physical and i think mental) of our modern day meteorite hunter specialist.I believe every generation has had one and i think mike is ours,at the present time.I have lived through many more but wasn't associated with their profession.The internet has,as you say,brought that association right to our homes.That includes past and present meteorite hunters.As a collector i appreciate that and this list of great members that bring out the small and large questions,answers and discussions about meteorites.You got myself to thinking about that with your kind and insightful post.Thanks.
