I got up at 4:30 am this morning to check out the Orionids. Almost as I
walked out on to the deck of the bedroom, I heard a faint crackling boom ENE
of my position. When I checked the list this a.m. I hoped to read something
that might corroborate what I heard.
I live in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
At 300km we're talking Maine or farther if it was a bolide. But then again,
the ocean is pretty big?
