Hello All!
I just got a few meteorite individuals from a friend of mine who
spent the last couple of weeks in Mali.
A meteorite was reported to have fallen in the Chergach region in
Mali near the Algerian border in July 2007.
Complete details are not known yet, but it seems that more than 90 %
of the recovered meteorites are fragments with 60 % or less
fusion crust. I was able to pick the best 400 grams out of more than
10 kilos. So what you see here are very likely
some of the very best individuals of this new fall that will ever
come on the market.
