My father, who is 93, had a major stroke 2 days ago, at first he was stable, but he has now taken a turn for the worse. So I flew this afternoon from Tucson to Denver to retrieve my passport, and tomorrow morning I am flying to Paris, then the TGV (high-speed train) to Lyon where he is. I left my whole inventory in my room in Tucson, and Geoff Notkin, Leigh Ann and Tim will try to keep the room open as much as possible. I will not be gone long, just long enough to say Goodbye to my father and I will fly back to Tucson Friday. Just in time to pack up everything and drive back to Denver. My cell-phone does not work in France, and obviously I will have very little time for emails.
