I have a very thin (ca. 1-2 mm) slice with translucent olivines that I got from Gregor Pacer about 10 years ago...not the slightest trace of rust! I also have a 7 mm-thick slice of Esquel ... not a trace a rust either.

It is still as stable and looks exactly as it did six years ago!
