Thank you for all your kind information..... Seems that the media I was reading wrote in a very confusing manner... and implied that the actual super nova happened 140 years ago... and was at or near the center of the galaxy. As opposed to the way it actually is... Super Nova happens 33,000 years ago..( give or take a few thousand light years....) and just NOW, ( 140 years ago) comes to light as the information reaches our little tiny part of the Galaxy
