Hello Rob, Sterling, and all; Regarding the last part of your post about a Mars fall. October 6 is just three days after the anniversaries of both the Chassigny (Oct. 3, 1815) and Zagami (Oct. 3, 1962) Martian falls. So maybe the villagers will indeed win the lottery!
