Dear List Members,

Just an update on our move to Laughlin, Nevada.

I want to thank everybody for their patience in regards to emails. Several
hundred have stacked up including many I will never be able to read since they
were sent to my old email address [EMAIL PROTECTED] which is no longer valid.

Seven of us all moved at once making it exteremely difficult and expensive to
coordinate. It took two large trucks and a moving van, all pulling trailers or
car haulers in order to get everything here. It reminded me of a circus
caravan. The good news is that the Mobile Meteorite Command Center (MMCU) is
now here in the Desert Southwest where it can do some good. We now have 9
permanent Nevada members of Team LunarRock with more coming on board. I look
forward to searching for months at a time once we recover from the move.

For those who have never been to Laughlin, it is as close to Pleasantville as
one can imagine. A very small town of only 8,000 permanent residences with over
6,000,000 visitors a year. This town is located 90 miles south of Las Vegas and
is right on the California and Arizona borders. A crime rate of only 1/50th the
national average makes this a very friendly and safe place. The town is
separated from the casinos on the river by a few miles making for two very
different settings. It so small that if a dog got hit by a car, the news would
spread like wildfire all over the town and probably be headlines on the local
news for days.

The main draw back is that it gets exceedingly hot in the summer with
temperatures exceeding 100 degrees F for 4 months out of the year. The hottest
day this year was 128 degrees F. The rest of the year, the weather is pleasant
and perfect for meteorite hunts, golfing and fishing.

I look forward to meeting up with many who live down here or are visiting. We
will provide updates from the field once we get there.

That's it for now from beautiful and sunny Laughlin,

Best Regards,

Adam
