I have no problem with receiving more than one Advertisement email per week
from Michael, or anyone else for that matter. I frequently take up
Michael's invitation to make an offer, and sometimes I do luck out and get a
fantastic deal.
But that's me, and I guess each of us gets their buttons pushed a little bit
differently from each other.
I do not mind getting private emails from Michael and others announcing
sales and deals. Maybe that's the way to go? That is, with the recipient's
permission, of course.
Hey - if I can get a good deal on something, I'm all for that!

Hello,
I agree with most of what you say. It is good to wait and have patience.
I offer all kinds of sales.
Set prices in my ebay store
10% to 30% off sales, sometimes more.
And 0.99 cents auction about every 2 weeks.
Sometimes items can be bought for less if you wait. Other times there
is no time to wait because it is limited in quantity.
Over all, most of my customers are repeat buyers who know prices go up
and down, but I know they get great deals in the long run and most
probably do the math and know that in the long run they get GREAT
prices from me. Also, it is funny when I have a 30% off sale for
several days and when I have advertised it, but it is the day after
the sale ends that a lot of pieces sell for full price.... figure that
one out!
Best Wishes

Hi,
I have mixed feelings on this.
I don't have any objections at all to the number of ads posted. Two or
three
a week - its not five or ten a day.
However, it's all those sales that are a bit problematic. 10 -20 or more
percent off fairly quickly after the original items are first listed for
sale.
You see something you like, you buy it, and then find out you could have
gotten it significantly lower if you had waited a few days. This has
happened to me twice.
I know the sales are intended to benefit both buyer and seller, but when
there are so many of them, how does that make the buyer feel who overpaid
for an item?
Is the lesson to be learned don't buy what you like when you first see
it,
because if you wait, you will almost certainly get it cheaper?
Don't get me wrong. Michael has some great stuff for sale. But those
prices coming down so quickly - next time I will try waiting before I
buy.
Sometimes sales, which are supposed to attract buyers, can have the
reverse
effect too.

Hello,
I also do not get it. I have been on this list for 10 years and I
never once, have I cared about too many ads. I mean it really is a non-
issue for most.

Do you really have nothing better to do? Enough. 99% of the people
on the list- want ads, they want meteorites, they want to know what
is for sale, they are busy and they want to be reminded. You have
some tattle-tale like mentality. YOU can block my emails and then
rest easy.

It sounds like you're counting now! Very good. You understand the
concept of twice. That's a good start. I thought you could'nt count
at all. I'm always happy to help. Maybe you should appoint one of
us to count for you if you're too distracted to keep track of all
these silly rules.
Hello,
Why don't you stop reposting my add over and over! I appreciate the
extra exposure, but that is enough ads this week. I think between you
and Greg, you have reposted me twice. Thanks, but that is even more
than I care to do.
Best Wishes
