Hi, I run my own industrial hygiene consulting company. We conduct surveys for manufacturing facilities, chemical companies, etc. Surveys include monitoring for air contaminants, noise and other agents in the occupational setting.
I am a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and have graduate degrees - one in Physical Chemistry and the other in Environmental Health Science. Prior to starting up my own company, I was director of industrial hygiene for a large insurance company for 12 years before it went bankrupt. At that point, I started my own company. I became interested in collecting meteorites via another hobby of mine - collecting autographs of scientists. It's only been about two years since I started collecting, but I already have a peer-reviewed publication involving the history of meteorites that was published in Notes & Records of the Royal Society in 2007. I am particularly interested in historic meteorite specimens and writing about them. That about sums it up!
