There are a couple of other options as well. There are really nice black aluminim and brushed aluminum versions available out there... I've even seen a few marketed on the list here made out of irons and chondrites.

Thomas Stadler sells the silver colored ones:

There are several resources for the black ones...
- Drake "Doc" Dameräu had some for sale in 2007.
Not sure if he still makes them:

- The one I purchased had a promounced T/1CM on the face...
  It came from http://myworld.ebay.com/mr_claus
(DMC Meteorite Photo Scale Cube )
They pop up now and again on eBay, though I am sure you
  can contact him.

And of course, you can always get the 1cm magnets -
 Tons of places including eBay:

thanks Gary...this is what I'm looking for. I'm sure in due time I'll be
contacting Mr Wesel.

A number of our meteorite vendors sell them. But one that doesn't escape
my memory is Nakhla Dog and Rob Wesel:

I've noticed that folks who sell meteorites usually list a photo with their
meteorite next to a 1 centimeter cube. My question is, where in the world
does
everybody acquire such a cube? I've checked all my game closets (Just one)
and local stores and no such animal seems to exist. I do live in the
sticks,
so maybe I'll have to go to the "Big City" and look around. I looked on
ebay
and no luck. Do I have to attend a Tucson or Denver show to find the
source?
:O) Help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
