Hi List, I'm curious about something.... we hear frequently from people who hunt (and re-hunt) the Franconia, Gold Basin, and other western US strewnfields. But we never hear anything about people hunting the old African strewnfields like Tatahouine. Since Tata is one of those singularly-exceptional meteorites, there seems to be some incentive for those with the means and churchbells to re-hunt it. If nobody is hunting Tata, is it because Tunisia is not safe enough? Compared to Algeria which sits right next door, Tunisia is considered a relatively-moderate Sunni Arab state. I know it's probably considered risky or remote compared to Morocco, so maybe this is why nobody is looking.
