Hi all,
I'm entering a film contest and may need some help with video graphics.  The
short film is going to be a positive look at what meteorite hunters do and how
they can positively effect science and possibly the world. For example
- documenting finds, mapping strewn fields, and donating samples for study can
help  scientists determine how meteors break up in the atmosphere. Fresh falls
are probably best for this since when we find a fresh meteorite we can be
pretty sure that's where it landed.

Which type of meteor has a better chance of burning up and which type may have
to be intercepted could be very important IF (or should I say when) we spot a
giant asteroid that is on a collision course to earth.

It's not too uncommon for a meteorite hunter to find a meteorite that was in
space only hours before. Therefore, I like to think of us (in some small way)
as taking part in the space program.

Anyone interested in helping with a video graphic of a meteor as it heads
toward earth please contact me. Or if someone knows of a place to purchase such
video stock also please let me know.

This is a fun film project and doesn't need to be perfect (or too serious) so
just about any decent graphic that is about 15 seconds long will be fine.
