Steve,

Thanks for setting the record straight. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of: who is the most famous or most popular of the current crop of meteorite hunters? 2 names immediately pop into my mind: Arnold & Farmer. I guess it's because of your Brenham publicity and The Meteorite Men that I thought you were a top contender. I haven't done my homework on who has found what and compiled it into a statistical analysis and ranking like various people did for the West fall. Has anyone thought about doing this? I sure don't have the time, with 2 jobs and 2 children under the age of 5. I don't think it could be done, except for number of meteorites officially classified. How many hunters are sitting on how many unclassified finds? And how do you define "find"? Does it count if you find meteorites at yard sales or Moroccan markets? I think a list of lifetime classifications would be a good starting point in determining the current Champion of the World.
