Weird Time? ;)

I didn't know there was a "normal" time for fireballs to occur. Perhaps you mean weird time for one to be "seen"? ;)

The "meteorite dropping" speculation is clear as speculation of course, as most meteors and fireballs only appear to hit the ground or be closer than they actually are.

That's a weird time for a meteorite dropping meteor to occur. I suspect she was seeing the meteor disappear onto the horizon...thus a lot further away than she thinks. George Zay
