Yes, coincidence. The appearance and paths are quite typical for early
evening fireballs.

Hiya,
The September 1st bolide over Michigan and the September 25th bolide over
Toronto/Niagara Falls have a few things in common other than occurring
within close proximity of one another.
Both incandesced alternately blue-green and red....
Both occurred at about 9:10pm....
Both had a SE trajectory.....
While "Michigan" was not seen to detonate in the atmosphere, "Toronto"
certainly was, and it would appear hundreds of meteorites are waiting to
be found.
