Yeah, those are really nice, Mike. I was about to post the same thing.
I bought one in Tucson last year and I'm surprised they're not sold out.
They're nicely designed and very well made. I wouldn't want my whole
collection like that, but for a special item or commerative event it's great.

Geoff and Steve's Brenham Lucites are the nicest I have ever seen:

They are much nicer in hand and look great in the display.

Somebody made this with a zagami 10 or 15 years ago. See here (This is not
my website)
http://www.marscube.com/about_fr.html
It is pretty cool looking although in reality a very expensive paperweight. It was a popular item that sold for around $150 on ebay (At least thats what
I easily sold a couple for at one time some years ago). Came with a nice
descriptive writeup.
I dont remember any other meteorite having this done with it.
If one wanted to actually embed a meteorite in something like this how would
one go about doing it?
Sincerely
DEAN

Jose:

I do not know if it would impact the value, but I don't
think I would do it... it just seems too... "permanent." I
remember seeing this in San Diego with a lunar meteorite; it
was pretty neat, but I'm sure it was an imitation, but I do
not know. If anyone has been to the Air and Space Museum
in San Diego - perhaps they know.

Best of Luck,

Greg S.

micromounts embedded on lucite with the respective
information at a side, as a way to preserve and display
them? Do you think that with this a meteorite will lost its
value or will suffer any damage on the future?
