I just got a phone call from a couple of guys who saw a large meteor that lit up the sky and ground on the West North West side of Rockford, IL. Tomorrow, I will be trying to find other witnesses to the event. Hopefully we are able to find more people who saw it and maybe track it down. If anyone in IL, WI, or IA witnessed it on the list please post what you saw, Thanks in advance.
