Interesting fact: Friends owned a 90 acre farm in Iowa county, which is the
county East of where Livingston is, Livingston is in Grant county, right on
the Grant/Iowa county border and the "Iowa County ordinance" is that no one
can have more than one residence on less than 40 acres. That's great since
it's not a built up suburban massive tract-housing suburb like Middleton or
the towns in Dane county where Madison is.
Bottom line is, lots of farmland to search. Lots of farmers to ask their
permission to search and don't irritate the strong willed folks, they are a
hardy bunch.
