It can be named after a geological feature too. It's not uncommon in
Australia where you can be hundreds of kilometers from anywhere!

I see everybody starting to call this fall "Livingston"... but this is
not likely to be accepted as the name since there are already meteorites
named Livingston (Montana) and Livingston (Tennessee).
