I am making a object for a card game out of tungsten and plating it with Gold
for that exact same reason.

Hi Rex,

Tungsten scale cubes would be very impressive in terms of their
density -- almost indistinguishable from that of gold.  I have a
35-cm diameter tungsten cylinder in my office, and people are always
amazed how heavy it is.  --Rob

My current initial order is almost sold out. I have like 5 left but I have many
more being made by my jewelry company. (I make and sell tungsten carbide
jewelery) in adition to being a science teacher.

For those of your that ordered I mailed them all out on Saturday. (thank you
for your purchase)

Future models will have sharper edges (all will be made of tungsten carbide) be
available in matte and shiny black (PVD)

Gold both matte and shiny. (electroplate)

and I am also make some in straight Tungsten. (silver in color) in matte and
shiny.

Pictures and links to websites that offer them for sale will be up soon. Prices
will still be very low 23-27 dollars for the next batch.

If you want any reserve any  or have special requests send me a email. (I can
add to my MFG order in the next 2 days)

Now back to teaching my science students and polishing meteorites by hand.
