Yes, here in Florida the high temperatures with the high humidity just
make it awful. You can be 5 minutes outside and you're sweating! You
can almost eat the air outside.

Lest anyone think it's only hot in the desert and southern tier, lemme tell
you it was HOT in and around the Wisconsin strewnfield yesterday, too. 90+
degrees, with dewpoints at or near 80 degrees (!!). That's "tropical"
anywhere.
And, no, I was not out hunting in the agri-jungles. Corn LOVES this kind of
weather, and is already well over head-high and fully tasseled. (The good
side of that is you can now get and enjoy some of the best fresh sweet corn
on the planet.)
