I am in hospital (admitted 29 Aug 2010) and hope to be discharged later this week maybe next week I do hope to do an extraordinary update later this week maybe next week It's timely to remind you of the intent of my webpage/s The secondary (or third for that matter) inent is to keep myself cheerful, busy and activated as I unsdergo chemotherpy and to share gorgeous images with youse... certainly the webcounter shows just how popular my webpages have been ! The second (if not third) intent is to slowly collect enuf images to publish a book... on the pocket guide to thisections/colour atlas of thinsections for our wonderfu collecting community - to be published by a collegue of mine I have focussed on the "rarer" types/subtypes first so the project can and will be done bu others if I die but that is another matter for anther day... I'd take the time to personally and publicly thank the very few listoids who have so kindly offered to help Youse know what I be missing as youse run thru the rare types/subtypes on my webpages and I again would ask if you would loan any rare or interesting secimens I am missing Even interesting part-slices are welcome - any loaned items go straight to the top of the priority list and ae returned swiftly That'll do for now... I hope to be discharged from hospital later this week ? and seek your assistance to tidy up the edges - email to me at this address or [email protected] if you can assist or email to me at [email protected] Best Bob WALKER http://www.qmig.net/thinsection ______________________________________________ Visit the Archives at http://www.meteoritecentral.com/mailing-list-archives.html Meteorite-list mailing list [email protected] http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list
