Hi Martin and List, Interesting idea about burning through with a hot meteoritic iron, but the price seems a bit steep to me for a print of a map with a couple of holes burned in it - and no actual piece of meteorite is included.
My wife has been working on some meteorite-related art and art that incorporates meteorites, but the works are not finished yet. Although I did just put some of her other original paintings on my website here - http://www.galactic-stone.com/products/original-art Best regards, MikeG -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike Gilmer - Galactic Stone & Ironworks Meteorites Website - http://www.galactic-stone.com Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/galacticstone News Feed - http://www.galactic-stone.com/rss/126516 Twitter - http://twitter.com/galacticstone EOM - http://www.encyclopedia-of-meteorites.com/collection.aspx?id=1564 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- On 10/11/10, karmaka <[email protected]> wrote: > Something unusual: > > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170551466138&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.com%3A80%2Fi.html%3F_nkw%3D170551466138%26_sacat%3D0%26_sop%3D10%26_odkw%3Dmeteorite%26_osacat%3D0%26_trksid%3Dp3286.c0.m270.l1313%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 > > Ebay article number: 170551466138 > > > Though a meteorite is somehow 'space art' in itself ... > which one is your favorite artwork about meteorites? > > Best wishes > > Martin > ______________________________________________ > Visit the Archives at > http://www.meteoritecentral.com/mailing-list-archives.html > Meteorite-list mailing list > [email protected] > http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list > ______________________________________________ Visit the Archives at http://www.meteoritecentral.com/mailing-list-archives.html Meteorite-list mailing list [email protected] http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list
