A friend of mine is having problems posting to the list, so I am trying to do that for him...

There was a hint of something sulphurous but more kind of a organic swampy smell. Then for some reason a scent of new-mown hay popped into my mind. We came about 10 minutes after the meteorite had been pulled out the shallow hole it had created. Murray took a picture and I took down the GPS coordinates. For a great picture of the event see Bruce McCurdy's Buzzard web site: skyriver.ca/astro/bruce/meteorite.htm This was 12 days after the meteor fell in frozen winter conditions. -Brian Moore ______________________________________________ Visit the Archives at http://www.meteoritecentral.com/mailing-list-archives.html Meteorite-list mailing list [email protected] http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list
