Joachim, Jared Loughner, the murderer in this tragedy, did not act from politics. He's a nut-job. Some of his rantings may seem political but crap like "the government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar" is simply raving gibberish.
The news from Mexico today is "27 Killed, 14 Headless Bodies Found in Acapulco." This is part of the overall assault on civil society by drug gangs. >From Afghanistan: "official says a suicide bomber has killed 17 in southern >Afghanistan." A political/religious act. >From Italy: "4 dead in shooting spree in northern Italy." Apparently a jealous >74-year-old. On your second point, who-what-where are the 'so many idiots...shooting kids?"
