Hi Rob and all, As it turns out this specimen is neither a "unique" or a "very unique" meteorite. A window - with sandpaper borrowed from Luc Labenne - proved very quickly that this interesting specimen is quite terrestrial. Zero free metal and zero matrix...just reddish hematite.
