I was left in the dust on most of the stuff I wanted to bid on. I based my upper limits on actual recent sales on ebay and my own recent purchases. Hell, one piece I won still had the consigner's price sticker on the bottom and it was 20 bucks * lower * than my winning bid, and that does not include the buyer's fee.
Some auction houses release results (Heritage, Bonhams) and some don't (Chiat). Ultimately, it's up to Michael since it's his auction.
