Aloha John, listoids, Mahalo for your positive thoughts and prayers everyone. All's well from my vantage point in Kaumana at 1500' elevation just above Hilo on the eastern coast of Hawaii island. An evacuation order remains in effect for all coastal areas, with damaging waves reported in Kailua-Kona (western coast of Hawaii island).
State and County offices are closed today. So the Big Kahuna is chugging some Kona coffee and waxing up while trying to figure a way to get around roadblocks this morning.
