I forgot to mention the field expedient method of deterring ill tempered and territorial horses. Next time guys...somebody brandish a coiled rope. Works like a charm. Also, while were at it...For other livestock I carry one of those small air horns. Makes cattle, sheep, goats, hogs and most dogs run away and poop while their doing it.
